Welcome to
Miracles in Motion
Giving everyone the chance to dance!
Miracles in Motion was founded with the idea that dance should be accessible for everyone, regardless of ability status.
Our classes are designed to support an inclusive blend of children, teens, and young adults
with various levels of support needs,
and our awesome peer mentors provide assistance and encouragement along the way!
Our Program
Dance Technique
Classes are fun and challenging, and help dancers build foundational skills through the use of repetition and encouragement.
Accommodations & Modifications
We meet dancers where they are! Accommodations and modifications are made as needed to ensure each dancer feels comfortable and has the support they need to thrive.
Peer Mentors
Our “Big Sister” and “Big Brother” peer mentors are the best! They dance alongside us and provide 1:1 support as needed to help our dancers shine.
Making the joy of dance accessible to individuals with disabilities since 2010.
Come Dance With Us!
Join us for virtual movement classes from the comfort and safety of your own home! This option is perfect for dancers who may be immunocompromised/high risk and are looking to stay connected to a dance community while also prioritizing personal safety during these uncertain times.
*Currently on hold*
Join us for in-person classes! Our outdoor class option began as a necessary adaptation during the pandemic, but it quickly turned into a joyful experience of dancing together in the great outdoors. Starting in Spring 2023 we have been welcomed into an accessible indoor space at the Joyner Park Community Center in Wake Forest.
We love partnering with dance studios across the Triangle to host workshops and create performance opportunities for our dancers. Stay tuned for more information about our Spring 2024 workshops and performance opportunities!
